Karlstad municipality has approximately 82,100 inhabitants and 55 000 in the city centre, and is growing continuously. Our vision is to reach 100,000 inhabitants and we work hard to become even more attractive for people to come and live here. Karlstad is the centre for pulp industry and a cluster for IT.
